With the Israeli threat of war on South Lebanon, let's see how the Israelis would deal against a united Lebanese government.

It's a down right shame that the Lebanese cannot shake off the Syrian terrorist control over their country. This will lead to their destruction along with their mussie cohorts Syria and Iran, and the sooner the better!

Most Americans do not realize how important countries like Lebanon are to peace in the middle east. For a Syrian backed faction to agree with a pro-western group to allow the formation of a coalition government is remarkable, and it may indicate a softening in the positions of the Syrian power brokers. If we can get Syria to back off of supporting terrorism in Israel launched from Lebanon, then Iran can be isolated as the primary proponent of terrorism there. Little by little, peace in the middle east can be achieved, and this small act by Syrian backed factions is one small step in that process.

The opposition, Syrian-backed, whatever you want to call it, is led by the largest Christian group in Lebanon, Tayyar, and Tayyar has more seats in the opposition than Hezbollah.
