How can they continue to push a bill that only increases cost, will remove thousands from employment, and decrease the quality of care….the demo’s will never learn, start with more PRIVATE competition, tax incentives, and tort reform. Reform welfare and immigration if you want to save cost.
Social programs have done nothing but pull this country down…perfect example is the I.O.U.-bankrupt state of California. If you don’t pay taxes, you shouldn’t be represented because you bring nothing to the table except a bigger deficit.

This just shows the AARP is basically a democrat political action committee. We've known this since the contest between Gore and Bush a long time ago. I will never be a member of this group. In fact, I send their mailings back to them (using their postage paid envelopes) with the words F.U. or something to that effect written on them. Makes me feel better at least. The AARP doesn't care about senior citizens and maybe they never did. They are no better than the union bosses living high on the hog for promising the workers something, while at the same time making it more profitable for companies to send jobs overseas. Screw the AARP.

Thank you Grand Madam Pelosi for having the gravitas and the clout to attract such a non-biased and honorable group like the AARP to support the Obama, healthcare reform bill that will finally end all the injustices of the capitalist system of free choice, competition, and doctors and patients deciding treatment together! I as a black man with no high-school education but a lifelong record of voting Dem am happy as a pea on a PORCH. I direly need free healthcare because I developed lung cancer from all my years smoking ten packs a day. Additionally, I have gonorrhea from all the promiscuous sex I was having with hookers and also women in my workplace whose jobs depended on me! Suffice it to say, treating both diseases will cost an arm and a leg, so I’m happy as hell to have the taxpayer pick up the tab for me! This means I can keep smoking as many packs as I want and, like an animal, continuing to f*ck any piece of tail that comes my way! Thanks Dems.

AARP didn't learn a thing while loosing membership from the force prescription drug program. And yet another subsidized program payed for by the healthy.
The 40 Million member AARP has always done what it believes is best for its constituents. Dems have had as many complaints about the group as Reps over the years. They don't take actions like this lightly, and have studied these issues particularly closely. In fact, their own health care plans will suffer as a result. Nonetheless, they are making this statement to improve the well being of their Members. Good for them.
I definately would not want to be a Democrat in Washington tomorrow. It will be so uncomfortable for them that they hopefully will start to understand that "we the people" will not take their bullcrap anymore! 2010 is coming and they better start looking for a new career other than politics!

i recently joined AARP. started getting their magazine. i've been thinking, this mag seems like it's put out by the goverment. it backs everything they say. and i mean everything. then i noticed almost all the pages has blacks on them. just like the media and tv. which have kissed up to the goverment and obama since day one. i don't mean this in a prejudice way. i'm just stating a fact. by the way i won't renew my subsciption to AARP.
Folks, the healthcare bill that Pelosi supports is flawed! And there is no way to pay for it! if you do the math. Its impossible to pay it back. And besides I dont want to wait weeks/months to get medical care! Also which is oblivious to most liberals and some GOP. You need to understand, we will lose Doctors! AARP lobbyists - crooks that cut back room deal with Obama, like Big Pharma did (after Obama lied to USA and said no lobbyists in his White House - and derided Big Pharma during campaign, only to invite them to White House within 30 days in office). The deal? While Obamacare cuts Medicare by $400M (mdeicare plus), Obama opens door for AARP to sell large amounts of "additional Medicare insurance" to supplement what is being cut. What nasty lying POSs AARP - they steal from and sell their souls, sell old people down the river to Obama's death panels.
